There's about 14 feet of it left on the ground. Curt climbed up into the top of it, cut the top part off, then cut the big limbs and cut one more part of the trunk. I didn't think he'd be able to do it by himself.
Here he is in the tree. It's kind of hard to see how far up he really is. But he's up there quite a ways.
There's the top of the tree lying on the ground. Notice Lucky peering around the trunk. She was so careful. I was afraid she might get hit but she had a sense of what was going on. When Curt would start the saw, she'd look up, and then run when she saw branches falling.
There he is way up at the top.
What a job. Now we just need to clean up the big mess. We'll worry about that tomorrow . . . .

I concur with Cashelle...WOW! It's fun to see your blog, and see a little bit of home. We are doing good in Oklahoma, trying to stay on the ground in the middle of tornado season. :) Hope everything is going well for you guys back in good ol' Manti!
